Baking has always held a special place in my heart. Some of my fondest memories are from my childhood, baking cookies in the kitchen alongside my mother.

She taught me the joy that comes from creating something sweet and sharing it with the people you love. Over the years, baking became more than just a hobby—it became a way to express my creativity and bring smiles to those around me.

When the pandemic turned the world upside down, it also turned my life in an unexpected direction. I had just welcomed my beautiful daughter into the world and was on maternity leave when the company I worked for suddenly closed its doors.

It was a challenging time, but also an opportunity for a fresh start. Encouraged by my friends and my incredibly supportive partner, I decided to turn my passion for baking into something more—a family business.

That leap of faith became Cookies by Monari. It’s more than just a business to me; it’s a labor of love, a way to honor my roots, and a way to create a life where family and passion come first. I’m so proud of the decision to take this path. Not only do I get to share my creations with others, but I also get to spend more time with my loved ones and pursue what I love every single day.
